Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Education: A minimum of Grade 10 is required. Applicants with higher qualifications will be considered an advantage.

Accreditation: A valid Grade C Security Certificate, accredited and registered, is essential.

Experience: At least two years of proven experience within the security industry.

Integrity: Candidates must have no criminal record and should be prepared to undergo regular background and criminal checks as part of company policy.

Fitness: Physical fitness is non-negotiable, as the role involves active patrolling, monitoring, and rapid response in different situations.

Location: Applicants must reside within Pretoria or surrounding areas where the vacancy is advertised.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to carry out various security-related tasks with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Report Writing:
Preparing accurate, clear, and timely incident and observation reports to ensure effective communication of all events occurring during duty shifts. -
Safeguarding:
Protecting property, assets, and people by maintaining a strong visible presence and adhering to all standard operating procedures. -
Patrolling:
Conducting routine and random patrols within designated areas to monitor activity, deter crime, and identify any potential risks or irregularities. -
Access and Egress Control:
Managing the flow of individuals and vehicles entering or leaving premises by conducting thorough entrance and exit checks. -
Register Maintenance:
Completing and maintaining all relevant registers accurately, including visitor logs, incident registers, and other documentation as required. -
Standard Security Duties:
Performing duties in accordance with the training provided by Fidelity Services Group to ensure compliance with industry and organizational standards.
